Conner's Birthday Presents...

The Hartig Family gave Connner a gift card to Target. So, we got Conner some under shirts (tanks) and a new crib sheet...

The Grodecki Family got Conner a gift card to Kohl's, so we got Conner 3 pairs of pants and a pair of glow-in-the-dark pj's...

The Castillo Family got Conner a gift card to a book store. So we got Conner a touch and feel puzzle...

My sister and her crew got Conner the bouncy ball and the Spider-man couch for his birthday! Loves it......so does his sister Lila!

How time flies!

It is May 3rd 2009! Conner will be 3 years old in a little over a month!!! Wow, where did the time go? As you all are aware...Conner has had some medical issues. Also, he has had some surgeries. This kid is a trooper that is for sure! His seizures are under control for now...FINALLY!!! He has not had a Grand-Mal seizure in about 14 months!!! Don't worry though...he is still being monitored closely. He sees his Neurologist every 6 months, his eye doctor, his pediatrician, and Developmental pediatricain. He is being monitored for Autism. The doctor said that he can't make an official diagnosis until he is about 5 since Conner mocks other dis-oreders too. But, we will see. His vision has improved tremendously! He is always on his knees now! And he can do the 4 point crawl for a bit of time...not too long. He has therapies 3 days a week to help him out. He also will be starting Music therapy soon!!! So excited for him!

Lila is doing better. We took her to a G.I. doctor because her pediatrician recommended her to see about her weight. Since she was below percentile. They put her on a acid-reflux medication which made her sick to her stomach. So, we put her on a high calorie diet and she gained 2 pounds in 2 weeks! Instead of 9oz in 9 months!!! Yippie! Go Lila!!! She is a HUGE walker now....nothing is going to stop this kid!!!!!
