Happy New Year 2009!

Well, I think that it is time for me to say good-bye to this year..."2008". It has been a rough year...with Conner having his seizures at the beginning of the year. And Craig working non-stop at the airport. And a challenging year for me...with a newborn to a now toddler. Yes, I am talking about Lila. But, in the end we have been truly blessed. Conner has not had a Clonic-Tonic Seizure for over 9 months now. He is working on crawling and improves everyday. He is a true blessing in our little family! Lila is getting into everything. She is one smart cookie. She loves to tease big brother and is on the verge of learning to walk! Craig is my hero! He works so hard for his little family. To make sure that we have food on our table. And a roof over our heads. He comes home so tired sometimes....and yet he tries to apologize to me for not having the energy to help out with the kids.....or little things like that. I love him so much! He is a great Husband and an AWESOME father! Me? Oh I have learned alot this year. From the challenges of working with a son who has alot of medical issues. To taking care of Lila. Both, who can give me headaches at the end of the day.....but BOTH who I love with all my heart! They have taught me more patience! Well, I hope that you all have a pleasant NEW YEAR! Take care of yoursleves! See you next year!

Chubby Conner!

Happy Conner......

"WOW!"

The kids kissing mommy!

We were at Gary and Dorothy's house visiting for Christmas. I was sitting on the couch. And had Lila. Well, of course Conner wanted some attention from me also. So, I grabbed him too. Then, it was funny.....I asked Conner for a kiss. (he knows how to give kisses.....as best as he can...) He leaned in and Gave me a kiss. Then, Lila decided that she wanted to join in on the fun...so she gave me a kiss......Conner was jealous and he gave me a kiss again...then Lila.....It went back and forth.....then they were kissing me at the same time. Craig got a couple of photo's of the cute and crazy kids!

Lila has on her Christmas Dress! Pretty......

What a handful!

For Mom & Dad....aka Grandma and Grandpa Adams

We were at the mall one day and came across this little shop that carries Christmas Ornaments that you can personalize. So, we bought this little Gingerbread Family that you can place on a table or any flat surface. And we had them personalize it. We were planning to surprise Grandma and Grandpa Adams the week before Christmas and take it to them in person. But, our plans fell through. So, Mom and Dad...Grandma and Grandpa Adams...this is for you! We wanted to mail it. But do not want to have it break with shipping. So, when we come out there again...we will bring it to you! Merry Christmas!

Family 2008 Christmas Card!

Dear Family and Friends,

We sent copies out to everyone that we could. But, for those who were not able to get one...here is how our Christmas card turned out. We have been very blessed and are so grateful this year. Our son Conner, who is now 2 1/2 years old is doing pretty well. The last time he was hospitalized was in March of this year. He has not had a clonic-tonic seizure for over 9 months now! He is working on crawling and pulling himself up. He can pull himself up at the baby gate. There are pictures of that on the blog. Little Lila is now a year old. And she is a pistol. Getting into everything. Picking and teasing her big brother. But, then there is her little angel side. Where all she wants is to cuddle or just dress like a princess. Craig is working hard at the airport still. He takes care of his little family the best he can. Me? I am working hard being a mom of 2 beautiful and great kids. They sure do keep me busy! Well, We hope that you all have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year! Happy Holidays!
